Reaching junior high students (grades 6-8) and senior high students (grades 9-12) with Christ’s love; connecting them with other believers; helping them grow in their faith; and equipping them to serve so that they will honor God with their lives. christian education – kids
Providing a friendly, helpful entry level for young families into Elim Church; educating children and encouraging them to build a strong relationship with God and with one another. Nursery Care from birth-2 years and Sunday School ages 2-5 available from 9:00-11:30 a.m. every Sunday; Sunday School for grades K-5 from 9:00-10:00 a.m. and Children’s Church during the second-half of the 10:30 a.m. worship service each week. worship
Leading the congregation in corporate worship using song, drama, visuals, teaching, readings and prayer. Ministry teams include praise team, prayer ministers, audio/visual team, ushers, communion servers, children’s corner coordinators, artists, and decorating team. fellowship & care
Providing care, encouragement and support for individuals and families within the Elim congregation through social events; ongoing pastoral care; nursing home, hospital, and shut-in visitation; provision of special financial assistance during times of crisis through the benevolence fund; establishing a welcoming presence for those who visit Elim; and providing ongoing opportunities for individuals and families to connect with one another. local missions
Connecting Elim with opportunities to serve our local community and meet needs in practical, tangible ways. Outreach includes Elim Preschool, The Unlimited (clothing closet), Fare for All, food shelf collections, Meals on Wheels, and community response team. Contact: Melissa Montbriand.
world missions
Supporting cross-cultural ministry through financial and prayer support of missionaries; maintenance of Elim’s missionary apartment for individuals and families on furlough; and increasing congregational awareness of missions through education and short-term missions opportunities. stewards
Providing oversight of church building, property and grounds; tracking and managing financial resources. Contact: Greg Howell.
